The NACUBO Board of Directors recommends that the association raise its overall dues by 2 percent for the membership year 2014–15, an annual increase for institutional members ranging from $15 to $159.
The dues increase provides high-quality resources and services for members, including continuing congressional outreach, new online educational offerings, improvements to existing programs, and assistance to address the expanding needs of CBOs and next-generation business officers.
“The Board of Directors is committed to offering relevant new programs and advocacy efforts that add value for NACUBO members,” says Charles Tegen, chair of NACUBO’s board. “Additionally, NACUBO must continue to be a role model for operating effectively, without undermining services to its members.”
In accordance with NACUBO bylaws, the proposed dues increase will be presented for a vote on July 15 at the annual business meeting for primary representatives. Invitations to this meeting will be distributed to eligible primary representatives, and more information is available under the Education tab at www.nacuboannualmeeting.org.
